Panthers News · Updated Spectator Information

Due to the Governor’s updated guidance regarding fans at athletic events, we are now allowed to have spectators at our Fall athletic events.  However, the number of people permitted in each venue was not increased.  Outdoor events are limited to 250 and indoor events are limited to 25.  These numbers include all individuals present at the event (players, coaches, officials, game staff, trainers, etc.).

Unfortunately, with the facility limit on events at the stadium, we are not currently able to have fans at home football games. In addition, with the indoor facility limit, we will not be able to have spectators at home or away Varsity and JV volleyball matches.  We will be able to permit two spectators per participant at the following home events:

  • JV and MS Football games
  • Varsity, JV and MS Boys and Girls soccer games
  • Varsity and MS Cross country meets
  • Varsity and JV Girls Tennis matches
  • Varsity and JV Golf matches

If an athletic event is in the stadium, then players and parents will be notified regarding how they will gain admission to the events.  Any event that is not in the stadium does not require a ticket.

Attendance at away events is at the discretion of the visiting school and you will be notified if fans are not allowed at away events.

All spectators must follow allow applicable guidelines as set forth by the state.  A full explanation of the guidelines can be found using the following link:

As you may know, recent legislation (HB 2787) passed through both the house and the senate that allows each school to make a decision about the capacity of their venue.  If the bill is signed into law, we will then make a determination on how many spectators will be able to attend.

Guidance is constantly changing and we will continue to adapt.  We very much appreciate your patience.

Please contact the athletic office if you have any questions.
