Spectator Guidance

Fall Sports 2020

Updated: 9/29/20

The Franklin Regional School District is revising its current spectator guidance due to recent decisions and changes relative to gathering limitations at events.  The district has consistently operated within guidelines and restrictions as stated from the state level.  The previous restrictions of 250 total at outdoor events and 25 at indoor events is no longer ordered.  The Franklin Regional School District remains committed to providing a safe environment for all of our student-athletes to compete as well as for those spectators in attendance.  We recognize the importance of parental involvement and support the opportunity to enable their attendance at their children’s events.  The size of our venues provides the ability for parents and guardians to attend while mitigating risk for all in attendance.  We will continue to monitor guidance from all appropriate sources and adjust accordingly.  The guidance below is specific to each sport and the venue in which they play.

Please remember that the Franklin Regional School District requires all CDC and Department of Health guidelines to be followed at all times when attending an event.  This includes following the statewide masking order as well as maintaining six feet of social distancing at all times.  All spectators in Panther Stadium and the High School main gym must sit in one of the clearly marked spots in the bleachers.

Senior Recognition events will be addressed on a case by case basis.  We will make every effort to accommodate requests by senior student-athletes for additional family members to attend the recognition.
