The Boys Varsity Golf team continued to make it’s way through AAA-Section 4 undefeated by beating Pittsburgh Central Catholic 185-198. After the first group of players, the Vikings took a 2 stroke lead behind a 2-under effort by Rocco Salvitti, but the Panthers stood strong with a 39 by Michael Wareham and even par 36 by Nolan Shilling. The Panthers took control of the match in the second group with a 37 by Chuck Tragesser and 38 by Luke Kimmich. In the third and final grouping, the door was slammed shut on the match by junior Zach Abdallah by shooting a 1-under 35. This match moves the Panthers into 1st place in the section sitting at 4-0 and 5-0 overall. The Panthers have 4 section matches scheduled for next week to try to keep their streak going.
